1. Theme Interpretation

'Literary Art Revival' is an art practice movement rooted in tradition and oriented to contemporary times.

It takes 'Chinese excellent traditional intangible cultural heritage crafts' as its cultural core and 'modern innovation concepts' as its practical path, breaks the barriers between tradition and modernity, and injects new vitality into the activation of traditional crafts and the implementation of modern creativity through the power of new design, new art, and new business.


We re-deconstruct and 'innovate' through 'new design, new art, and new business':

Linking needs with new design : Whether interpreting craftsmanship and structure, or taking into account aesthetics and function, it is necessary to use modern design language, combine new materials and material technologies, use products to reconstruct contemporary life concepts, connect with emotional needs, and become a practical carrier to convey life aesthetics.

Activating experience with new art : getting rid of the 'museum-style' static presentation of traditional craftsmanship, and through innovative art forms, allowing works to enter daily scenes and gain continuous vitality in use and appreciation. Art no longer stays in the ivory tower, everyone can touch the existence of art in life.

Define value with new business : Combining cultural connotation with business logic, whether it is an intangible cultural heritage derivative product or a modern creative work, it needs to be transformed into a trendy product that highlights individuality and adapts to the market, redefining the dual value of traditional craftsmanship and modern creativity in the art field and the consumer market.


We are looking forward to the works of designers, artists, studios, and managers, and want to see how they 'ride the wind and waves' or 'advance against the current' in the trend of the times. Whether they follow the trend of change or maintain tradition, design is their original intention, art is their ideal, and business is their goal. With this vision, Xinqixiang will use the key of 'literary and artistic innovation' to open the door of this era.



2. Recruitment Time

'Literary and Art Renewal' Young Designer Recruitment Program is an ongoing recruitment program. As long as you have ideas, inspiration, and ability, you can submit your work to us. As long as you and your work meet our requirements, you can submit registration and work-related materials in the designated manner. We will respond within after receiving the submission . We collect and select works in 7 working days every year February and September . We will showcase their dreams and inspirations and promote them to the world.



3. Recruitment Category

Recruitment is divided into two major project groups: 1. Jinzi Artist Group, 2. Intangible Cultural Heritage Special Group.


(1) Jinzi Artist Group

Recruitment crowd: all ages, all educational backgrounds, all professional backgrounds, as long as you understand design, have ideas, and can be creative


1. Recruitment and submission methods:

This recruitment only accepts online submissions. Participants must organize the registration materials and work-related information into a compressed package and send it to the designated submission email address: fiona@yunyannj.com

1) Email subject format

The subject of the email must be in the same format: title of work + author’s name/nickname + individual/team (registration form) + artist Kaneko.

2) Contents of materials to be submitted

Personal/team information form: It must include name/team name, contact information (phone, email), personal/team self-introduction (within 1,000 words), including character/team stories, experiences, areas of expertise, past representative works, etc.).

Work plan: It must include the design concept and introduction of the work (within 1,000 words), actual photos or renderings of the work, a description of the work’s functions and usage scenarios (clear the use scenarios and practical value of the work in daily life), and a description of the technology used in the work. Once the work is selected, you need to send the work yourself for exhibition display. If there are no physical works, you can submit them in the form of electronic files or digital creations, and the organizer of outstanding works will help you make physical proofs.


2. Selection process and rules:

Preliminary stage:

The preliminary selection team is composed of the Xinqixiang platform operation team, professors in the design field, and leaders in the business field. The works that meet the requirements for design, originality, completeness, and market value will be screened to determine the shortlist. The list will be publicized on each platform for 3 days, and objection feedback will be accepted. All shortlisted works will be awarded an electronic participation certificate certified by the Design Industry and Business Committee of Jiangsu Industrial Design Society.


Check stage:

The shortlisted works will be judged by public judges and professional judges.

The public review is generated through the spontaneous publicity of the author and is based on the number of backstage votes during the review period, accounting for 20%.

The professional review is scored by a professional jury, accounting for 80%. The jury is composed of well-known craft masters, artists, well-known product designers, relevant professional professors from art schools, and brand product managers. The jury adopts an anonymous scoring system, scores each shortlisted work item by item according to the review criteria, and ranks them based on the average score.

The top 20% of the shortlisted works will be issued an electronic shortlist certificate certified by the Design Industry and Commerce Committee of the Jiangsu Industrial Design Society, and join the New Device Designer Support Program . The platform will conduct one-on-one interviews with designers or teams, and the works will participate in the new device national tour plan. The top 10% of the shortlisted works will additionally participate in overseas commercial exhibitions and art exhibitions.



(2) Intangible Cultural Heritage Special Team

Recruiting crowd: Artists who integrate intangible cultural heritage skills and modern design


1. Recruitment and submission methods:

This recruitment only accepts online submissions . Participants must organize the registration materials and work-related information into a compressed package and send it to the designated submission email address: fiona@yunyannj.com

1) Email subject format

The subject of the email must be in the same format: title of work + author’s name/nickname + individual/team (registration form) + intangible cultural heritage special team

2) Contents of materials to be submitted

Works that do not meet the requirements are eliminated and the shortlist is determined. The list will be publicized on each platform for 3 days, and objection feedback will be accepted. All shortlisted works will be issued an electronic participation certificate certified by the Design Industry and Business Committee of Jiangsu Industrial Design Society.

4. Others

1. Participants must ensure the authenticity and originality of the submitted materials and works, and shall not infringe other people's intellectual property rights, copyrights and other legitimate rights and interests. If any dispute arises due to infringement of materials or works, the participants shall bear full responsibility;

2. The organizer will keep strictly confidential the materials submitted by the participants and will only use them for the review of this recruitment plan and subsequent cooperation and communication. The materials will not be used for other commercial purposes without the permission of the participants;

3. During the recruitment period, if participants have questions about the recruitment details, they can contact the organizer for consultation through the submission email or the official Xiaohongshu/WeChat public account backend, and the organizer will respond within 3 working days;

4. In February and September every year, the organizer will organize a professional review team to review the submitted works based on the creativity, design, aesthetics and market demand of the works. The review results will be notified to the participants via email within 10 working days after the recruitment ends;

5. The final interpretation right of this recruitment plan belongs to the organizer. The organizer has the right to adjust the recruitment details according to the actual situation. The adjustments will be notified to registered participants in advance through the submission email.
